馬精武,黃梅瑩,楊楊,侯耀文,李婉芬,葛優周楓和林山是頗有造詣的喜劇大師，兩人合演的《人生百態》等喜劇小品，深受觀眾的歡迎。有一天，周楓查出患了喉癌，手術后，嗓子再也不能發聲了。周楓為此異常痛苦，在林山開導下，兩人竟然用以前灌制的節目錄音帶欺騙觀眾，不料被發現后，被觀眾趕下臺來。一次偶然的機會，周楓發現了啞劇小品的表演方式，他與林山重整旗鼓，勤學苦練，終于又可以登臺演出了，不料周楓卻突然暈倒，在幻覺中表演了人生最后也是最為精彩的一出節目。
