在位于新瀉的田園鄉間，18歲的漂亮女孩shan瀨廣美（渡辺奈緒子 飾）結束了高中學業，她和侽友英介攜手前往崬  京闖蕩。平日里廣美做著一份穩定的機場地勤工作，但是她的心中始終懷有一個演員的夢想。間或機緣，她在街頭邂逅了娛樂公司的經紀人夏本正人（光石研 飾），不曾想對方竟是一家iV公司的負責人。經過一番考慮，廣美決定以拒拍iV為底線，正式進入這家公司。隨著極度誘惑的平面寫真的流行，廣美慢慢積攢著人氣，同時也遭到來自英介和家鄉好友的壓力。而在一過程中，她離那條底線也越來越近 hellip; hellip; 本片依據iV女星美廣（Mihiro）的自傳改編，美廣本人亦在片中出演了角色。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
