宋曉英,李啟民,關長珠,佟瑞敏,匡平,張家齊,趙雅珉,宮喜斌,趙萬凱,王新建,王興華,周正宇,徐展,季平,石堅華僑家庭出身的陳鐵軍（宋曉英 飾），受“五卅”革命思潮的影響，從一個追求小資情調的大學生，逐漸成為職業革命者。1926年，她加入了共產黨組織。四.一二反革命政變以后，白色恐怖同樣籠罩著南國廣州。周文雍（李啟民 飾）是中共廣州工委書記，黨指示陳鐵軍與周文雍假扮夫妻開展工作，建立秘密聯絡站，上傳下達黨的指示。工作中，兩人逐漸產生感情，但為了黨的事業，他們相互克制著，誰都沒有捅破。廣州起義失敗后，他們轉入地下堅持斗爭。由于叛徒出賣，二人不幸被捕。在獄中，他們分別忍受著反動派的種種酷刑而不屈服。1928年2月6日，雙雙被押赴刑場，面對敵人的槍囗，陳鐵軍凜然高呼“我們就要舉行婚禮了，讓反動派的槍聲做我們結婚的禮炮吧”......
