陽光燦爛的日子
20世紀70年代初的北京，忙著“鬧革命”大人無空理會小孩，加上學校停課無事可做，以軍隊大院男孩為突出代表的少年人便自找樂子，靠起哄、打架、鬧事、拍婆子等方式揮霍過量的荷爾蒙。馬小軍（夏雨 飾）就是這樣的少年，他的嗜好之一是趁別人家無人用萬能鑰匙將其鎖打開，溜進去耍玩一番，正是用這樣的方式，少女米蘭（寧靜 飾）的照片先于其人入了馬小軍的雙眼。通過院里的“頭兒”劉憶苦（耿樂 飾），馬小軍又見到之前在炮局偶然瞥見過一眼的米蘭，開始正式將其當作夢中情人，然而在米蘭眼中，馬小軍不過是毛孩一個，她中意的人是成熟、穩重、帥氣的劉憶苦。自此，馬小軍迎來五味混雜的青春期生活。本片改編自王朔短篇小說《動物兇猛》。夏雨憑此片獲得第51屆威尼斯國際電影節最佳男演員（銀獅獎）。
童煞驚魂島
在一個舒適的季節，弗朗西斯科（艾邦·摩斯·貝克許 Ebon Moss-Bachrach 飾）和懷有身孕的妻子貝絲（凡妮莎·肖 Vinessa Shaw 飾）來到墨西哥某個海濱小鎮度假。適值狂歡節期間，小鎮四周歌舞升平，紙醉金迷，多少青年男女流連忘返。弗朗西斯科渴望尋覓一個安寧的所在，他找到當地的漁夫，從對方手中租下一艘船，打算在附近某個僻靜的小島安然度過五六天。次日，他和妻子抵達目的地。那里寂靜無聲，幾乎看不到一個人影。島上的孩子們偶爾逡巡四周，但無一例外臉上都掛著猙獰冷漠的表情。 未過多久，令他們毛骨悚然的事情接連發生。島上的孩子手執兇器獵殺成人，期間更發出令人不寒而栗的笑聲。孩童的殺戮仍在繼續，弗朗西斯科夫婦能否逃離……
