　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

女將木蘭卸甲歸鄉(xiāng)，驚見母亡父死、弟被擄走。她深入黑礦救弟后，卻目睹其弟慘死惡吏之手。在追查中，她逐步揭開雍州官商勾結的黑幕：惡霸劉煥私鑄假幣、殘害百姓；州官嵇世勛表面賑災，實則借軍功之名盤剝鄉(xiāng)里、殺良冒功。木蘭孤身復仇，手刃劉煥；更識破嵇世勛偽善的面具，亦割其耳并押送天子處置，為民除害。最終她拜別父母家人，獨自前行，誓將星星之火帶到更多地方，點亮人們心中的正義之火。

　　萱島(竹野內豐)收到父親的訃告回到故鄉(xiāng)，從萱島的父親那里繼承土地的宇和島(山田孝之)與他一起，在山路上開車行駛時遭遇了意外事故。兩人醒來時，發(fā)現自己身處森林深處，被六個美麗的女人監(jiān)禁著。
