A week before her birthday her Mum serves her an ultimatum - she needs to move out of the shed, get a haircut that doesn't put her gender in question and stop dressing like a homeless teenager. Naturally, Anna tells her Mum to "back the f-off". However, when her school friend comes to visit, Anna's self-imposed isolation becomes impossible to maintain. Soon she is entangled with a troubled eight year old boy obsessed with Westerns, and the local estate agent whose awkward interpersonal skills continually undermine his attempts to seduce her.

The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. 聯合艦隊司令長官：山本五十六
三船敏郎,加山雄三,司葉子,稻葉義男,土屋嘉男,平田昭彥1940年9月，德、意、日三國成立同盟。山本五十六被任命為日本聯合艦隊總司令，并不得不“違背自己的意愿”，接受命令對美、英、荷等國開戰。1941后12月8日零時，山本五十六親自下達了“1280”密碼命令，并親自率領部隊偷襲美國珍珠港，從而對美軍太平洋艦隊造成重創，大勝而歸。隨后山本五十六建議與美國講和，但意見未被采納。在指揮中途島戰役時，由于戰略上的重大失誤，日本海軍遭受慘重損失。形勢陡然逆轉，美軍攻勢如虹，日軍兵敗如山倒。瓜達康納島上有三萬多名日本陸軍，他們遭到了美軍飛機的晝夜轟炸，陷于絕境。山本五十六派出艦隊炮擊美軍基地，協助尚存的陸軍安全撤退。1943年4月18日，山本五十六為了鼓動前線部隊的士氣，乘坐一架轟炸機到前線視察。沒想到日軍的密碼被美軍竊取，美軍派出空軍機隊將山本五十六的座機擊落，一代軍人山本五十六就此碎尸于太平洋上空。
