　　格雷（菲利普·拉肖 Philippe Lacheau 飾）是“借口.com”公司的創(chuàng)始人，專門為需要“打掩護”的客戶制造各種各樣的借口和謊言。因為特殊的性質(zhì)和高需求，公司的經(jīng)營蒸蒸日上。一次偶然中，格雷邂逅了名為弗洛（艾羅娣·方坦 élodie Fontan 飾）的女子，弗洛的天真和單純深深的吸引著格雷，令后者墜入情網(wǎng)。格雷深信，她就是他命中注定要尋找的另一半。　　然而，令格雷頭疼的是，弗洛是一個對“撒謊”零容忍的的人，如果告訴了她自己的真實身份，她一定會憤怒的拂袖而去。無奈之下，格雷只得用謊言將自己重重包裝，在虛偽的假面下，格雷終于和弗洛走到了一起，可是當(dāng)他到弗洛家做客時才發(fā)現(xiàn)，弗洛的父親竟然就是自己的客戶。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
